Rutgers CD course offered in Hillside five Saturdays
Rutgers University through its Civil Defense University Extension Program will offer a five day civil defense and disaster control course in Hillside starting Saturday October 9. Woman Hurt In Collision Near Hillside and Leslie
Mrs. Marsha Denner, 26, of 30 North Ave Elizabeth, suffered injuries to her right leg hip side back and neck last Thursday afternoon in a collision on Hillside Ave at Leslie St. She was driving west when a car driven by Joseph Weiss 76 of 1414 Leslie St made a turn from Leslie St onto Hillside Ave. Weiss said he stopped on Leslie St before entering Hillside Ave but his view was obscured by a truck parked on the street. Mrs Denner was treated at Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark.
