On November 22 1972 the Hillside Avenue Occupational Center hosted a special Thanksgiving dinner for specialists who work with special education classes. D Felter and B Speziale led students in preparing turkey and sides funded by a Hillside Probus Club donation. The event supports a food service training program funded by a New Jersey state grant in cooperation with the Hillside Board of Education.

Junior Olympic Wrestlers Form Hillside Team
Thirty boys have registered for the Junior Olympic wrestling team at Hillside Community Center under Russ Petrucka. Open to Hillside youths ages 9 to 14, the group will train on fundamentals and advanced techniques. Those chosen for point matches will receive uniforms and transportation as they vie against nearby teams. registration continues at training sessions Mondays Wednesdays and Thursdays at 4:00 PM and Saturdays 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Christmas Party Plans by Christ the King Rosary Society
The Christ the King Rosary Society will skip the December meeting and host a Christmas party Monday December 4 in the school cafeteria after church novena services. Members should bring a dollar gift and a covered dish or other signed-up item. Kay Macaluso, the president, promises a surprise. Rosa Brenner and Eileen Scardaville planned the program.
