Debbie Basadre Donna Miller and Eileen Kennedy led a student effort to repaint the home stands at Indian Hills High in school colors. On Thursday November 4 1971 almost forty students volunteered, with principal John Kulikowski and teachers Joseph Mulford Kay Burke and Geraldine Robinson guiding the project.

Lions Name Youth Of Month For Hillside High Leader
The Lions Club names Larry Levee Youth of the Month for November. Son of Irwin and Mrs. Levee of 122 Woodruff Place, he presides over Hillside High’s senior class and has led freshman and sophomore classes. He organized trips to concerts and pro sports events, managed cross country basketball and track teams earning varsity letters, serves in the SGA, and has volunteered at teenage dances and as a Little League umpire. He plans to pursue college education.

The Hillside Police Department creates a Temporary Juvenile Aid Bureau and a Narcotics Bureau as part of a reorganization.
