Thirty-Eight to Graduate From Rutgers and Memorial Run
Forty-six Hillsiders will receive degrees next Thursday June 1 at Rutgers 206th anniversary commencement. Candidates include Judith Axt Barbara Barr Ira Baum Rachel Beer and many others with degrees from Rutgers College Newark Arts and Sciences and other schools. Hillside Little League votes to march in Memorial Day parade joining sixty five organizations and officials will attend a commemorative war victims ceremony and a noon parade from Hillside High School grounds with Jaycees sponsoring and community center refreshments.

Assemblyman Alexander J. Menga announced Hillside Community Players will stage Cabaret on June 3 at 8 30 p m at Newark State College. Jerome L. Eben was installed as president of the Hillside Jaycees at a May 19 ceremony in West Orange. Short Hills School To Join Pingry and Kent Place
Kenneth C. Nicholas announced the Short Hills Country Day School trustees unanimously voted to accept a three way affiliation with Pingry School and Kent Place School. Each school will stay at its present site with its own board and headmaster for now as details are worked out. Pingry and Kent Place had earlier agreed to a coordinate affiliation and a future joint move to a site in Bernards Township.
