Surprise 25th Anniversary Party for the Lessers Before Cruise
The Lessers celebrated twenty five years of marriage with a surprise party prior to departure from shore. Paul Barlo son of Frank and Mrs Barlo completed two months pledging the Beta Chapter at Catholic University Washington DC as he studies architecture with a 3.4 average. He joined with fifteen pledges on May 6 in a Springfield Steak House gathering attended by thirty guests. Paul is linked to the Barlo and Klafter families of Stanley Terrace and Liberty Avenue. His bride Florence Winkler daughter of Mollie Haber and the late Charles Winkler works as a controller at Empress Hand Bag Co in North Bergen. The couple has two sons, Charles 21 and Mark 16.

Philip Levitan was installed as president of Hillside Lodge 1514 B'nai B'rith on May 13 at Sinai Hebrew School.
