Hillside Comets endure three defeats to slip to 2-5, with losses to Berkeley Heights Westfield and Irvington. Standouts include Josh Chodash unbeaten in discus, Dwain Coleman undefeated in the 440 and leading a strong relay and sprint group, John Rosas in the 880, and Bruce Kulpan in distance events. Depth wanes this season as last year's top performers depart, though Kucinski leads in shot put and Lou Simmons shines in javelin.
