Newark State May Buy Pingry For Campus Expansion
The Pingry School site near Newark State College is studied as a potential addition to the Hill side system. A college spokesman says the Pingry and Newark State campuses would be compatible, though no formal talks or price discussions have occurred. The move to Bernards Township mid 1970s opens the possibility, with enrollment rising to over 7,500 planned later in the decade.
