The Sinai Youth Center boxing exhibit drew 500 plus attendees at Orange High School gym last Wednesday night. Coaches Lou Halper and Dave Taub led 10 to 13 year olds in ring displays with Tony Galento and city officials refereeing. Exhibitions included Graifer versus Goodman and Spevack versus Weintraub among bouts, with praise from City Commissioner Franco and Sinai Congregation president Kasoff presenting miniature gloves.

All boys ages 9 to 12 may register for Hillside Little League. Submit a completed application with birth certificate and $2 insurance to the registration committee at Little League Stadium Gurd Avenue on March 21 and 25 from 9 30 a m to 12 noon. Hillside Little League fund drive expands with goals
At a Hillside Little League meeting, chairman John Beattie said $1,250 has been raised toward a $10,000 five year expansion program. Beattie added Jack Valenti, Russell Raffa, William Ostermiller and Vincent Vitale to the committee to contact tavern, organizations, business and municipal employee groups respectively.

PAL opens Friday roller skating at Hillside building
Roller skating began Friday at the Hillside PAL building with about youngsters on the new floor amid screams. PAL director Patrolman Alois J. Stier asked for used shoe skates and a phonograph with records to prepare a donation drive. Charlotte Skilton leads the PAL Girls with a planned event on Saturday March 18 featuring entertainment and a decorated room.
