Vote Yes for Better Education in Town Referendum

Citizens may vote next Tuesday June 13 on a referendum to add to several school buildings. The plan, supported by the Board of Education and groups including National Citizens Issuing Schools, aims to improve high school occupational instruction with cost estimated at 5.52 per $1000 of assessed home value. The measure seeks to avoid a Saybrook School and to expand facilities at Saybrook high school and two grammar schools while keeping total costs low.
