Edward V. Kovac of 234 Winans Ave. received a gold service emblem from Edward R. Eberle, vice president, marking 25 years at Public Service Electric and Gas. Kovac, a former WWI sergeant, started as a General Office typist in 1937 and moved to the educational department in 1952. He is a retired military clerk and served as private secretary to a Panama Canal defense commander. Elizabeth Starr Bright wed Maurice Weiner on July 15 at Hotel Essex House in Newark with ceremony by Rabbi Mil ton Miller.

Olympic Park Ten Cent Day at Irvington Amusement Park
Next Wednesday Olympic Park in Irvington Montclair offers ten cent admission parking and rides. Tens of thousands attend the Maplewood park for bargain days.
