Recreation Board OKs Field Plans on Gard Avenue
The Recreation Commission approved plans for a Little League field on Gard Avenue including a two-test-room development with storage and office space and a 4 foot fencing for outfield. Contractors John Heattle and Moe Goldberg will manage the work with up to 10000 dollars from Harry A. Cooper and the One Hillside Industrial Foundation. The board also bids farewell to longtime coach Benjamin Gechtman before his move to Caracas Venezuela and names District Court Judge Harold A. Borden and So Herships as by laws committee co chairs.
