Troop 99 CK2 Wins Fourth Klondike Derby

The CK2 patrol of Troop 99 at Christ the King Church won the Fourth Annual Klondike Derby in Union Council Eastern District held Jan 19 at Conant Park. More than 200 boys from 14 troops competed. CK2 scored 871 points. Team members included George Weigly Matthew Frederick Daniel Helmstetter Kenneth Tomczyk Vincent Martorano Gary Martucci and Gary Schoemer. Scoutmaster Robert Petruska led the troop.

Brain injured children topic to be discussed at Millburn

A meeting at Millburn High School auditorium at 8 p.m. on Feb. 5 will feature Dr. Max N. Pusin of Short Hills, a brain injury specialist and psychiatrist, and Robert Russell, Glen Rock school psychologist who helped pioneer special classes for brain injured children. The event covers diagnosis, treatment, and education of brain injured youths.
