Memorial service for Rabbi Milton Miller in Elizabeth
A memorial service for Rabbi Milton Gerald Miller, longtime leader of Temple Beth in Elizabeth, was held Saturday night at 1374 North Ave. He died Tuesday at Elizabeth General Hospital after a heart attack. Over 600 attended the funeral Thursday. Miller, a reform rabbi named in 1957, led civic and interfaith efforts and authored works on religion and ethics. He leaves a wife, a son, a daughter, and relatives. Interment followed at Beth Israel Memorial Park in Woodbridge.
