He was a Bloomfield College senior ranked first in his class and planned to study for the Presbyterian ministry at Princeton University next year. He edited the school yearbook and belonged to the student choir and Hillside Presbyterian Church board of deacons. Survived by parents Arthur and Mary Chase three brothers David Ry Barry L and Glenn D and sister Marjorie Ay. Maternal grandparents Mr and Mrs Willem Barlow.
