Bernard E. Thaw of 1610 Crescent Ave will be installed as chancellor commander of Granite Lodge No 21 Knights of Pythias. The ceremony at 8:00 p.m. Saturday Jan 15 at the YMHA Green Lane Magic Ave Union is led by district deputy grand chancellor Jack Loshin and past grand chancellors. Thaw has aided state fund drives and medical research, and performed as a clown with Knights of Khorassan to entertain underprivileged and handicapped children.
