Rocco Minervino 82 of Hillside died Wednesday at St Elizabeths Hospital. Born in Wallatts Italy he came to Newark 71 years ago and moved to Hillside in 1956. He worked for Johnson Murphy Shoe Co before retiring and was a charter member of the Vallateset Society of Newark. Surviving are his wife Filomena Catania and four daughters. A Mass was offered at Christ the King Church Hillside at 9 am Monday after the funeral from Lytwyn Lytwyn Home for Funerals.
