Polio Inoculations Delayed One Week Across District

Polio vaccination appointments are postponed for a week due to delayed Salk vaccine shipments. Dr. Wayne T. Board Proposes Extending Polio Vaccine Injections Townwide

The board backed broadening polio inoculations for Hillside children with free vaccine under the National Foundation plan. About 800 to 1,000 more youngsters would be vaccinated at a cost of 2400 to 83,000, with 1,600 to 1,800 total in the first two grades. The secretary was asked to arrange vaccine supply and timing, aiming a Salk series of shots for complete immunization.
