Bonnie Koplin, seventh grade at Hillside Avenue School, earned an honorable mention at the New Jersey State Science Fair at Rutgers University March 20 21. Her Electrical Digestive Tract project lit up with a doll and digestive organs wired to electric display.

Cancer Relief Plans Meeting In Newark April Eight
Cancer Relief will hold its April Cancer Month meeting on April 8 in the auditorium of Beth Israel Hospital Newark. Mrs Meyer Krasner of Hillside will preside and Mrs Samuel H Rettig of South Orange will give a social service report. The afternoon includes a theatre party plan, Tag Drive results, and a talk by Dr Fred Cohen of Flo Okin Tumor Clinic on The Advances in Cancer Therapy. All members and friends are urged to attend.

Local high school and college students form Hillside Youth for McCarthy to back Senator Eugene McCarthy in the 1968 campaign. The group, advised by Prof John Shenis, plans to campaign for New Jersey delegates set for the June 4 primary and recruit Hillside voters and independents.
