Three Face Additional Charges In Local Check Ring
Police filed additional charges Monday against three people linked to a check cashing ring. Doyle Bridges Ramona Robinson and Julius Robertson face conspiracy to commit false pretense with bonds set at 10000 each. Bridges and Robertson also accused of forging checks and Robinson charged with two counts of forgery. Townsend charged with assault with a deadly weapon for injuring Gene McFalden with a broken bottle on Sept 26. He faces trial Oct 4. Two theft reports include a bicycle taken from Mont leu Avenue School and about $9 stolen from a cash box in a Park and Shop lot office.
