Budget Group To Start Allotting Funds
The Budget Commission, under Gov. Bob Scott, prepares to balance state needs with growing demands. Agency heads presented A and B budget requests totaling over 2.6 billion for the 1971-73 biennium, plus over 450 million for permanent improvements. The panel will use these figures to draft appropriation recommendations for the General Assembly.
