License Forger Traced To Greensboro Man Misidentified
Eric Giles of Greensboro faced arrest on charges of defrauding an innkeeper and larceny after a man used a license bearing Giles name to rent a Wilmington motel room. Police later dropped the case when handwriting and prints did not match. Investigators traced a forged license duplicate to May at the Graham motor vehicles division. Giles says the mix up cost him time and money and he seeks the suspect’s capture.

The Associated Press reports eleven people died over the weekend on North Carolina streets and highways.
