Reports state General Villa crossed the Northwestern railroad about 25 miles southwest of Chihuahua City after skirmishes with Carranza forces. Radio sources and band companions reportedly confirm the movement and identify expeditionary forces as headquarters in the field.
J H Mason, traveling representative for the Charlotte Observer, suffered minor injuries and several bruises when a car overturned near town. He is rapidly recovering at High Point hospital. His son, the only other passenger, escaped serious harm as the family rode with him.
Evangelist Rev. J F Black will conduct a ten day series of revival meetings at Green Street Baptist Church starting Wednesday afternoon at 3 30. Superintendent Marr struggles with a crowded Main Street building housing 45 students without rooms or a teacher. He plans to transfer part of the pupils to Grimes Street School to relieve the overflow as the second day of school proceeds with routine trials.
A series of revival services starts Sunday morning at Wesley Memorial Church with Pastor Dr. Gilbert T. Rowe preaching. Evening services will be held each night and the revival will continue throughout the next week.

Police report a band of automobile thieves operating in the Whitman section. Several cars were stolen overnight including Miss J. R. Reitzel and Mr. Hauser’s vehicles. Investigators suspect a gang led by a local banker, with police across the state working to recapture vehicles and halt continued theft.
Former Premier Venizelos travels to Crete and will reach Suda Bay then Canea to issue a proclamation urging Greece to join the Allies and summon King Constantine to lead a national movement. London reports a cabinet meeting may drop two ministers from the current government.

Rev J W Rose of Cavahham arrives tomorrow to conduct the prayer meeting at 7 30 pm. He plans revival services starting next Sunday and will inaugurate an evangelistic campaign to begin his pastorate.
David D ive bon, former Madison County clerk, is arrested in Smithville Tennessee on the murder of Probate Judge W T Lawler of Huntsville. The case linked to a spate of crises in Huntsville including a suicide by attorney Shelby Pleasants and the Madison County sheriff.
Members of the Mexican-American joint commission met in New London today to plan their last session before adjournment. They will resume discussions in Atlantic City, focusing on topics affecting the general situation in Mexico.
