Rod Serling Says He Is No Longer Angry
Rod Serling, once a loud voice for freedom on TV, now presents a calmer stance as he becomes executive producer and host of a new weekly series. He wrote most of the first episodes and notes the value of rerun rights, with earnings potential from 25,000 to 75,000 dollars. He recalls early struggles including quitting a $90 weekly radio job after a refused raise and years freelancing with his wife in a trailer.
