Children's Home Hosts State Junior Women Tea in Greensboro
The North Carolina Junior Woman's Clubs held a 1 to 4 p.m. tea at the Children's Home Society Nursery in Greensboro to tour facilities and promote adoption work. About 150 delegates attended as Mrs. H. W. Odenwald and Mrs. H. L. Linker Jr. led arrangements.

Green Thumb Club Plans Lectures and Tours
Green Thumb Garden Club met at the Marsden home on Oakhurst Street with 16 members present. Yearbooks were distributed and a program of three lectures on flower arranging by Gaither Welker was approved. Members scheduled a Thomasville tour on Oct 13 14 and a square dance at the Marietta Club House on Oct 30.
