George T. Ivey of 114 Kinney Avenue died after an extended illness. Born July 7, 1906 in Jefferson County Georgia, he lived in Thomasville since 1941, was a retired carpenter, and a member of the Adventist Church in Avera. He married Sara Pennington on June 4, 1927, who survives along with several children and siblings.
Funeral services were held for Robert Lee York at Sechrest Chapel with burial at Guilford Memorial Park after a heart attack at his home. Ira Buren Berrier, 47, of Winston-Salem died Saturday at Baptist Hospital. services at Vogler's Funeral Home with Beulah United Church of Christ Cemetery burial.
