Work begins on Mechanicsville school with EB T Hedrick & Sons chosen as builders. Herbert B Hunter designed the tapestry brick, tile and stucco building on Hillside avenue and Mendenhall streets, featuring 16 classrooms two auditoria a library and clinics.
