Accidents Responsible For Children's Deaths
UNC Chapel Hill researchers report that children 1 to 14 in North Carolina die more from motor vehicle injuries than disease. Among 307 child fatalities in 1974–75 only five wore seat belts. head injuries were common. Four people were injured in two wrecks on Wednesday in High Point though none of the injuries were serious. Deborah Athey Greg Kinney and Debbie Muskgrave were hurt when Athey's car collided with a Godfrey driven vehicle on Westchester Drive near Coventry Road. Athey faced a yield violation charge.
