A carry in dinner followed the regular meeting of High Point chapter 106 Order of the Eastern Star at the Masonic Temple last evening. Mrs Cora C Briles and Frank B Caldwell presided. Gardner-Webb College plans a pageant next month depicting the 100 year religious program of the Kings Mountain Baptist association. Double Springs Baptist church, eight miles west of Shelby, also marks its 100th anniversary and participates. The tableau pageant is written by Santford Martin Jr and directed by Prof Z Y Hamrick and Prof Stephen Morrisette. Dates are set for the latter part of October.
