Miss Clarice Bjerke Named Heir to Jane Ensign at YWCA
Miss Clarice Bjerke of Minneapolis will succeed Mrs. Jane Ensign as Teen- Age director at the High Point YWCA. Ensign helped launch the Saturday program for elementary girls and the organized day camp, and led the Teen- Age Club with cross‑organizational support. Ensign and husband plan to move to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Miss Bjerke, a 1956 University of Minnesota graduate, has held Y-Teen roles, campus YWCA leadership, and sorority leadership, and will focus on intercity projects, leadership training, and national affairs attendance in Washington. She aims to link High Point Y-Teens to world peers and foster leadership and community involvement.
