The local chapter of the Licensed Practical Nurses will meet at 6 p.m. tomorrow at the home of Msr. S. F. Fortner, 1107 Council St., for a picnic supper.
The engagement of Miss Gayle Patricia Haynes to Paul Gray Nash is announced by her mother Mrs. Mary Haynes. The couple, both 1957 graduates from High Point, plan a October 12 wedding at Central Christian Church in High Point.
Mrs. George H. Andrews and others hosted a 4 to 5 30 tea at the Andrews home in Pittsboro to honor bride-elect Miss Nancy Stedman who will wed Allen Conrad on September 21 at Pittsboro Methodist Church. The event drew about 125 guests with yellow and white decor, corsages, and refreshments served in the dining room and den.
