High Point residents have three circus viewing options this fall. The Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Combined Shows received a permit to perform on October 9 from City Manager Knox. The John Robinson Circus and the 101 Ranch Circus also schedule appearances nearby, with strong expectations of large crowds.

Funeral services for Mrs. J V Sechrest were conducted at the First M P church with Rev. Roy J Farmer and several ministers officiating. Mrs Agrillo, a native of Morehead City, had fought for over two years to clear her husband.
