Mrs. May Beeson of Route Three is a patient at the local hospital undergoing real treatment since Thursday and will have an operation early this week. Dr. Max Rogers has returned home from High Point Memorial Hospital where his surgery is improving. Miss Jeanette Williams leaves Sunday for Concord to enter Cabarrus Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Bertha Zipplies and her niece return to Savannah after visiting Mrs. Saunders Jr. and Mr. Saunders. The Stocker Jr. family leaves for Baltimore to establish a new home at 823 Fifth St. Carolyn Myra Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Taylor of 233 Edgedale Dr., is admitted as a new student at Stephens College in Columbia Missouri and will depart next week as classes begin September 12. W. A. Hancock is recovering at home after minor surgery at Burlus Clinic.
