Tax Receipts On Hand For Those Wishing Discount
Official tax receipts for 1942 are ready. T R Short deputy tax collector for Guilford County says those wishing to take the one half per cent discount during October must visit the tax office in the County Building by Monday afternoon. He notes the office has run behind schedule due to added workload from rationing board duties and city prepaid tax lists connected with the school tax supplement.
