Two Navy officers Lieut. E. F. Frawley and Lieut. W. J. McCord were killed when their Curtis-Hawk scout planes collided at about 5,000 feet over Pensacola Florida. One plane crashed on Sixth avenue and Strong streets, the other on North Davis and Desoto streets. Frawley, a former Annapolis coach, was due for Philippines transfer next month. both men were married and lived with their families. The crash damaged a garage and a house, injuring a Negro woman.
