Hurricane slams Nassau as Cuban storm blazes inland

Fringes of a tropical hurricane injured more than 100 in Cuba and struck Nassau late today with undetermined force. Parents Fined for School Attendance Violations

Eleven parents from Old Richmond School were fined 25 dollars each and given 30 day suspended sentences for violations of the attendance law tied to a two month strike.
