Two men were held today for allegedly robbing 17 stores and filling stations across Jones Craven and Carteret counties. SBI Agent George E Canady identified the suspects as Robert A Wzorek and Robert C Swanke in a regional crime case.
Police Chief Har Morris collapsed during lunch at a Goldsboro restaurant and died minutes later. Authorities launched an investigation into the incident, with officers securing the scene and reviewing surveillance for leads.
