Thomasville report details a 60 year old man Paul Hall of National Highway injured at 10 p m when struck by Highway Patrol car driven by Patrolman H M Petty near the VFW Hall on Lexington Road. Hall suffered a compound fracture to the right leg and a scalp laceration and was taken to the hospital. Cpl O J Mitchell of Asheboro led the investigation noting witnesses said Petty was not exceeding 35 mph and Hall darted into the car path.
