Four persons died in a two-vehicle crash at the Pinecroft and Sumner School roads intersection near Greensboro. Victims: Warren McCandless 30 and his wife Melie 27 of Greensboro, Vernon McCandless 25 and his wife Elizabeth 22 of Rt Greensboro. Wyrick 26 of Kannapolis drove the truck. he suffered minor injuries and was treated.
