At the October dinner meeting 17 members and one guest heard Miss Mabel Cherry discuss Korea. Cherry, a former Korea missionary and Bible teacher, explained the language meaning Land of Morning Calm and described Koreans as peace loving, noting war atrocities are linked to indoctrination by Reds. She highlighted Wonsan as her first location in Korea.
