Former North Carolina Gov. Terry Sanford, Duke University president, contends he might quit the Democratic race if he loses his home state primary to George Wallace. He criticized Ford economy policies, urged full employment, and endorsed temporary jobs as a backstop while pressing for lower interest rates and broader tax control. He spoke in New Hampshire and at Hawthorne College and Keene State College.
