Mr S B Tucker speaks to E T Hedrick Bible Class, morning worship at 11 with pastor Rev Carl A Grimm, special music by Donald Gibbardt and Jewel Myers. Evening service at 7 30. Southern Synod meets in Burlington Tuesday October 16 for a one day session.
Emanuel Lutheran lists a full Sunday schedule with church school at 9:45 a.m. supervised by Baxter P. Freeze, morning worship at 11 a.m. with organ preludes and choir music, and evening service at 6:30 p.m. The junior and senior Luther Leagues meet in the afternoon, with additional choir rehearsals and Wednesday Brotherhood events. Wesley Memorial also plans morning and evening services, organ music, vespers at 5:30, youth activities, and a board of stewards meeting Monday at 7:30 p.m.
