Max T. Payne of Greensboro state chairman of Navy Day observance visited High Point to enlist cooperation of school officials for Oct 27 observance in schools and to arrange speakers. The American Business and Civitan clubs host a joint dinner at the Sheraton Oct 24 with a radio talk also planned. Other celebrations are being planned, Payne said.
