Knox ville Tennessee evangelist Dr Ramsey Pollard will headline the Green Street Baptist Church revival in the coming week with services at 11 a.m. and 7 30 p.m. He completed 19 years as minister of Broadway Baptist Church Knoxville and has chaired the Tennessee Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Radio Commission. He now chairs the Southern Baptist Executive Committee.

Fire destroys livestock barn at North Carolina Fairgrounds
Raleigh AP report says a straw fire gutted a section of a livestock barn at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds Friday, causing an estimated 35 000 to 40 000 in damage.
