Prison Escapee Recaptured in Durham After Shootout
Terry Dobson 29 of Concord was recaptured after surgery for gunshot wounds to the head and faces multiple charges including kidnapping rape assault with a deadly weapon robbery with a dangerous weapon crime against nature and housebreaking and larceny. He escaped from Guess Road Prison Unit last Friday and allegedly broke into a home kidnapping a woman and raping her before being wounded during a confrontation with a relative. Authorities note charges were filed by both Durham Police and the county sheriff due to crossing city limits.
