Parents toured classrooms to hear this year s program with teachers answering questions. Displays of student work lined the rooms while a hospitality committee served punch and cookies. The PTA distributed a bound handbook with calendar and staff details.

Regional president meeting noted by Junior brief
The regional president's meeting was attended by a junior brief report and announced that regional director Mrs. Charles Sterling will visit the High Point Junior League in March. The community arts chair announced two short children's plays by High Point Community Theatre under High Point Arts Council sponsorship on Oct. 26 at Northeast Junior High School. It was also noted that the National Repertory Theatre will present three plays from Oct. 10 to 15 at Aycock Auditorium.
