Edouard Emerson Mendenhall a 73 year old retired salesman and former merchant of High Point and Greensboro died at his home after a heart attack. He and Ida Alfred his wife celebrated their 50th anniversary on October 6. He leaves a widow three sons six daughters and 13 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements pending.
