Fugitives to Be Returned to N C for Dec 6 Hearing
Two fugitives from a North Carolina prison camp were arrested in Syracuse New York on a federal warrant and will be sent to Greensboro for a December 6 hearing. James C. Marley age 30 and Luther H. Dishman age 36 pleaded innocent and waived examination on charges of theft and interstate transportation of a car stolen July 24 at Twin Oaks North Carolina. They are jailed on $5 bail before U S Commissioner A Van W Hancock. FBI said they escaped from the Dobson state prison camp July 24. Marley had 20 to 30 year sentence for kidnapping and Dishman 10 years for highway robbery.
