Inspecting Units Foreseen In 1963 General Assembly
Rep Ed Kemp told the High Point Furniture Club that the 1963 assembly may study mobile vehicle inspection stations moving along state roads to briefly delay motorists while checking defects. He warned that the 1948 compulsory inspection law could block new measures. Kemp praised the Furnish Market Club for improving the market climate. The Schrafft's meeting was led by VP Charles Crofts in President Ross Farlow's absence.
