What happened to High Point School Support Foundation?
The High Point School Support Foundation faded away after forming in 1966 to boost school spirit, especially athletics. A 1968 joint committee with the School Board led to program expansions, but by 1969 the group became inactive after achieving initial goals. Its funds were largely spent on uniforms, equipment, and trips, with about 90 dollars remaining and transferred to the Blue-White Booster Club which continued the foundation’s aims.
