Boy 14 Runs Away on 2000 Mile Odyssey
Bert Parrott, a 14 year old eighth grader from Goldsboro North Carolina, ran away from home Sept 12 after saying he could not sit still. He traveled through North Carolina Virginia New York and Boston and spent nights in motels hotels and parked cars. He was knocked unconscious in New York and lost over 500 dollars from his wallet. His father pleaded to bring him back for his mother.
